In the spirit of camaraderie, employees of Xentra participated in a night of sports last Saturday.

On June 22, 2024, Saturday, several Xentra employees played a game of basketball to have fun and enjoy each other’s company. Cathy Raymundo, AVP for HR and Admin at Xentra, spearheaded the event, which was also sponsored by the company administration. Food and refreshments were provided during the event.

Event Details

The night of basketball game was held at the covered court of St. Agatha Homes in Sta. Rita, Guiguinto, Bulacan. It started at 7PM and lasted until 10PM. It was attended by participants from Xentra and its divisions. All in all, there were fifteen employees who played and enjoyed the game.

Fun Game for All

At the request of an unnamed employee from Xentra, the management decided to make it a game in which all employees can participate. As such, the game had no clear-cut rules, providing participants with a laid-back, enjoyable night of playing basketball. It provided an opportunity for co-workers to spend time with their colleagues and get to know each other at the same time.

Health is Wealth

But that’s not all. Xentra’s game night proved to be a break from remote work. As we should all know, working from home means employees are always in front of their workstations, sitting for hours long. Most of them don’t have time to exercise at all. Through the basketball game that was organized by Xentra though, employees had the chance to break a sweat, even if it was just for a couple of hours.

What Else is in Store for Employees

Looking ahead, Xentra is hoping to organize more events that would help employees get together and have some fun. The company may be known for producing quality projects, working hard as they should. But they also know how to play harder. Like they say, “Work hard, but play harder.”
