Q.A. Analyst

Description:

As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through comprehensive testing and meticulous analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly test software applications, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and user stories, and provide input on design and functional specifications to ensure testability and quality.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of software defects and implement corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Create and maintain test data and test environments to simulate real-world usage scenarios.
  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and usability issues.
  • Continuously improve and optimize testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, new testing tools, and emerging trends in quality assurance.

Why This Decision Was Made

Like many businesses, we faced a combination of challenges that became unsustainable over time. Despite significant efforts and continued investment, we reached a point where closing our Philippine operations was the most responsible path forward.

This decision was not made lightly.
